A website nobody is looking after turns into a problem sooner than most people expect. It slows down, a plugin goes out of date, a form quietly stops working. These plans are how we keep that from happening to the site we built for you.

They aren’t a ladder you’re supposed to climb. Most of the businesses we work with need the same things: the site kept online, kept updated, and someone in North Carolina they can call when they have a question. That’s Site Care or Foundation. If you’re also thinking about ads, being found in AI search, or a new website, those each have their own page, and you don’t need a bigger plan to ask about them.

These plans go with a site we’ve built for you. If we haven’t built yours yet, start with Websites and we’ll talk through hosting as part of the project.

Included

• Hosting on our servers, with Cloudflare in front, an SSL certificate, automated backups, and monitoring so we know right away if the site goes down.
• WordPress, theme, and plugin updates, handled for you.
• Up to one hour of small changes per month, such as updating your business hours, adding a photo, a site menu link, or even adding a simple text announcement to the homepage about a special offer. The kind of thing that shouldn’t turn into a project.
• You call or write to us — real people at real desks in a real office in North Carolina. No hassling with chatbots, ticket queues, or toll-free numbers answered by support teams halfway around the world.

Not included

• New pages, layout changes, or anything that’s really a small project. If a request goes past the hour, we’ll tell you before we start.
• WordPress administrator access on CloudPanel shared environments. That’s a security rule, not a judgment about you. Many sites live on those servers, and we can’t hand out the keys to the parts that break easily. We can give you an editor login so you can work on your own pages. Full admin access is available on a Dedicated server instance.

For businesses that need more frequent site updates.

Foundation Includes: Everything in Site Care, plus a second hour. Two hours a month is a good fit for businesses that regularly post news, events, menu changes, or photos and don’t want to think about the website every time something needs to go up.

The two hours may be ideal for things like: maintaining news and events on a site, adding blog posts, updates to the homepage, adding photos, or any other tasks that can fit in two hours.

It does not cover whole new templates or features, a full redesign, or ongoing SEO work.

Unused time doesn’t roll over to the next month. If something you send will take more than your two hours, we’ll tell you before we start, and anything beyond that is billed at our hourly rate, which is listed in our Terms and Conditions.

The prices above are for the first site.

Extra sites on the same account are a hosting add-on, not a second Foundation hour, unless the second site also needs regular content work. Tell us how the sites are used and we will price the extras as extras.
