A new website or a rebuild
Your website is the part of your business people can see. It also has to keep working long after the launch email goes out. We build it, and we stay.
For an established small business, a new site or a full rebuild usually runs $4,000 to $8,000. A larger site, a shop, or something with a lot of moving pieces costs more. Hosting and monthly care are separate and start at $150 a month (see Partnership Plans). Before we start, we’ll give you the number for your site in writing, with exactly what’s included.
When a rebuild makes sense
You don’t need a new website just because the calendar turned over to a new year.
On the other hand, you might need one if your site is slow, if you’re a little embarrassed to send people to it, if it was built on something you can’t update anymore, or if the business has changed and the site still describes the old one.
We’ve moved sites off just about every platform people end up stuck on. The point isn’t a fresh coat of paint. It’s a faster site with your content still intact, one you’re proud to hand to a customer.
What you're getting
We design the site around how your customers make up their minds, not around a template with your logo dropped in. Your pages say what you do in the words your customers actually use. The phone number, the form, and the next step are easy to find on a phone, because that’s where most of your visitors are.
We also set the site up so Google, and the newer AI answers, can tell who you are and where you are. That’s part of the build. It isn’t a monthly fee tucked inside the project.
You don’t have to write finished copy before we begin. You do need to be able to tell us the basics: your services, your hours, the towns you cover, the kinds of jobs you don’t take. We can shape that into pages that let visitors know what you do or what you offer right off the bat, exactly like a good website should.
If you’re selling products, we’ll talk through checkout, payments, and what happens when an order comes in. If it’s just a handful of products, we won’t sell you a big e-commerce system you don’t need.
What happens after launch
A new site that no one is watching is how the last one got old. Hosting, updates, backups, and a person you can reach are covered on our Partnership Plans page. Most businesses start on Site Care or Foundation.
We can also help you with Advertising and AI Visibility. Learn more about that on these pages:
How a project usually goes
We start with what you have now and what you’d like to change. We’ll work out a project scope and a price, split into payments so you’re not paying it all at once.
We build it where you can look at it before your customers can. Launch is a planned day, and your current site stays up until the new one is ready.
