Waters Edge Counseling Services, offering Christian counseling in Cape Carteret, NC, initially faced challenges with a self-attempted website build on WordPress.com. Our task was to transform this into a calming and inviting online space that accurately reflects the services and ethos of the counseling practice.
Challenges and Solutions:
The primary challenge was working within the limitations of WordPress.com, as our usual preference is for self-hosted WordPress sites. Despite these constraints, we focused on creating a website that exudes a sense of tranquility and welcome, aligning with the nature of the counseling services offered.
We successfully integrated the site with the client’s SquareSpace Appointment booking system (the specific product name escapes us, but it’s connected to SquareSpace). This integration included setting up consent forms and other necessary functionalities to streamline the appointment booking process for clients.
